Terms & Conditions:
Rates, Taxes & Payment:
All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars. U.S. funds accepted at current bank rate. Applicable taxes are added to all rates quoted. We accept VISA, Mastercard, AMEX (Killarney Mountain Lodge only) and most bank cards.
Reservations & Deposits:
Room Reservations: $50 per person is required to guarantee a reservation. Deposits are applicable to the last day of the reservation - not refundable for early departures. Multi-Day Trip Reservations: 1/3 of trip fee upon reservation; full payment 6 weeks before the trip. Outfitting Pkgs - $75/person. Canoes/kayaks - one day's rental per boat.
Room Reservations: If cancellation is received two weeks or more prior to the scheduled arrival date, deposits are returned less a $25 bookkeeping charge. With less than two weeks notice, deposits are either forfeited or held for another booking this season or next. Canoes, recreational kayaks and camping equipment: 7 days notice required to refund deposit. Sea kayaks & Outfitting Pkgs: 21 days notice required to refund deposit. Multi-Day Trips: full refund less deposit with more than 45 days notice; 50% refund with 16-44 days notice; no refund with 0-15 days notice. Killarney Mountain Lodge & Outfitters reserves the right to cancel a trip at any time. Full refunds would be issued if this decision was necessary.
Rental rates for canoes, kayaks, camping equipment and outfitting packages are per calendar day (not per night or per 24 hour period).
SINGLE RATES AND TRIPLE RATES - Email or telephone for special rates for single and triple travellers.
Children’s Room Rates:
Up to age 3: No charge
Ages 4-5: 25% of adult rate
Ages 6-10: 50% of adult rate
Children not sharing a room with an adult pay one adult rate for the eldest child and the applicable children's rate for each additional child.
Room Check In and Check Out:
In at 4:00 PM. If rooms are ready prior to check in time we are happy to accommodate you. Out at 11:00 AM. Stay later if you wish, but be sure to remove belongings from your room by 11:00.
Early Arrival & Refunds for Rentals:
If your equipment is available the night before your trip, you may pick it up early at no extra charge. There is a maximum one day refund for canoes returned early (no refund for sea kayaks).
We do not automatically add a service charge to your account (except for group bookings when gratuities are usually pre-arranged).
Taxes & Tax Refunds:
Applicable taxes are added to all rates quoted. Visitors to Canada can claim a refund of the Harmony Sales Tax on the accommodation portion of their stay, as well as on clothing, souvenir and gift purchases. Refunds can be collected at the Canadian border on departure or by submitting a rebate form by mail. Forms are available at our office.
Killarney Mountain Lodge & Outfitters is committed to offering stimulating and enjoyable Guided Trips. We provide top-quality equipment and experienced outdoor leaders with first aid certification, guide training and a real appreciation for the Killarney area.
Health, Fitness and Responsibility of Trip Participants:
Our Guided Trips are open to anyone in good health and good physical condition. You do not have to be an athlete, but many of our programs require a reasonable physical effort. Please refer to the specifics of each program. All participants are responsible for selecting trips that suit their interests, abilities, fitness level and health, and for providing Killarney Mountain Lodge & Outfitters with a signed release and the necessary completed medical forms prior to the trip. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time prior to, or during the trip if, in the opinion of Killarney Mountain Lodge & Outfitters or through its representative or agent, an individual's behavior or physical condition is detrimental to the trip operation or the rights, interests, or enjoyment of themselves or other trip participants.
Damages to Rental Equipment:
You are responsible for our equipment and will be charged for lost or damaged items. We require a damage deposit by cash or credit card. Deposits are refunded when equipment is returned undamaged.
