IMPORTANT INFORMATION

CHILDREN’S RATES - Up to age 3, no charge. Ages 4 and 5, 25% of adult rate. Ages 6 to 10 inclusive, 50% of adult rate. (Children not sharing a room with an adult pay one adult rate for the eldest child and the applicable children’s rate for each additional child.)

SINGLE RATES - No surcharge for single occupancy in ROOM accommodation. For singles in CABINS add 40%.

TRIPLE RATES - Deduct $5 per person per night when 3 adults share one CABIN or ROOM.

FACILITIES - In an effort to maintain the spirit of the wilderness, there are no telephones, radios, television or air conditioning in our guest accommodation. Television and telephones are available in public areas. Wireless broadband service is available in the public rooms in the main lodge. Bell, Tel us and Rogers are now providing cell phone service in Killarney. However, we request that cell phones be used outdoors only.

Accommodation - Our accommodations are simple, clean, cozy and adequate. Spend a moment viewing our 360 Degree Tours to get a better view of what our rooms, suites and cabins offer. Our chalets, 'The Chalet' and the 'Pilot House', offer more space amenities and excellent water views.

NO SMOKING PLEASE - All lodging and public rooms are smoke free.

RATES - All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars. We reserve the right to change rates at any time.

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS - $50 per person is required to guarantee a reservation. We accept deposits by VISA, Master Card or American Express. Deposits are applicable to the last day of the reservation - not refundable for early departures.

CANCELLATIONS - If cancellation is received two weeks or more prior to the scheduled arrival date, deposits are returned less a $25 bookkeeping charge. With less than two weeks notice, deposits are either forfeited or held for another booking this season or next.

CHECK IN and CHECK OUT - In at 4:00 PM, but if rooms are ready earlier we are happy to accommodate you. Out at 11:00 AM. Stay later if you wish, but be sure to remove belongings from your accommodation by 11:00.

TIPPING - We do not automatically add a service charge to your bill (except for group bookings when gratuities are usually pre-arranged), but we hope you will wish either to tip the staff individually or add a gratuity to your account when you check out.

TAXES - Our rates are subject to the Canadian Goods and Services Tax (5%) and the Ontario Sales Tax (5%).

CREDIT CARDS - We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and most bank cards.

TRIP SAFETY - Killarney Mountain Lodge is committed to offering stimulating and enjoyable guided outdoor day trips. We provide top quality equipment and experienced outdoor leaders with wilderness first aid certification, guide training and a real appreciation for the Killarney area.

HEALTH, FITNESS AND RESPONSIBILITY OF TRIP PARTICIPANTS - Our guided outdoor day trips are open to anyone in good health and good physical condition. You do not have to be an athlete, but many of our programs require a modest physical effort. Please refer to the specifics of each excursion. All participants are responsible for selecting trips that suit their interests, abilities, fitness level and health. Killarney Mountain Lodge must be provided with a signed release and the necessary completed medical forms prior to the trip. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time prior to or during the trip. This decision will be made if, in the opinion of Killarney Mountain Lodge or through its representative or agent, an individual’s behavior or physical condition is detrimental to the trip operation or the rights, interests, or enjoyment of him/herself or other trip participants.
