We have a variety of sailboats (11.5’-46’) in our fleet to get you out on the bay and putting on some miles of your own. From captained tours, regattas, bareboat rentals, or sailing instruction, toss off the dock lines and set sail for an experience that will be with you beyond your time in Killarney.
Sailing Charters
J22’s
This 22 foot sailboat packs a lot into a small package, with fixed keel and large rudder the boat has incredible responsiveness while still offering a stable and safe sailing platform.
The spacious cockpit which can accommodate 4 adults in comfort. Below deck you will find a simple but adequate cabin. From the hardcore racer to the novice just getting started, this boat is all about getting out there and creating great memories.

Lasers
Compact, fast, simple and strong, this boat can be sailed by a single adult or two small children. With just a mainsail to focus on, your sailing skills will progress quickly offering hours of fun on the water.

Corporate & Team Building
This sailing experience is designed to bring your employees closer together by developing working relationships they can take back to the corporate environment. The team will combine individual duties to reach an overall common goal.
Under the guidance of an experienced crew, everyone will have a chance to set sails, trim sails and take the helm as we navigate the renowned waters of Georgian Bay.

The Lund (24′)
Our guided 24’ Lund aluminum fishing boat is equipped with four leather Captain’s chairs and a 90hp Honda motor.
Ideal for short excursions, the Lund is frequently taken to explore the bays in search of the best and biggest Killarney fish!

Our guided 28’ Denali Pursuit sport boat features a roomy cabin with head and covered seating areas, twin V8 inboards and down-riggers.

All rentals include a mandatory 10 minute safety and navigation briefing
Captains/Instructors are available for an additional $30 per hour
Boat rentals are subject to a damage deposit of $500.00 (pre-authorized)
Boaters license is required for operator
Lifejackets required to be worn at all times
Gratuities are not included greatly appreciated by our Captains and Guides
PAYMENT & BOOKING
Payment can be made by cash, credit card or room charge. All bookings to be done with the Concierge in the main lodge.
GENERAL CANCELLATIONS:
Rentals and charters cancelled more than 72 hours before the reserved date are subject to 25% of the rental/charter fee.
Those cancelled less than 72 hours before the reserved date are subject to the full cost of the rental or charter.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER:
In the event of severe inclement weather like the development of a thunderstorm or if winds over 20 knots are observed, Killarney Mountain Lodge reserves the right to cancel a booked rental or charter to ensure the safety of our guests. If we cancel
due to these weather events, refunds will be issued or an alternative date provided. Cancellations for excursions must be made 48 hours in advance to avoid charges
